Work in Progress Wednesday!!

     Since earlier this year I have been collecting Batiks for the "Scrappy Crown of Thorn" Quilt pattern by Kim at Persimon Dreams.  But I was unable to sew the pattern during her Quilt Along and really have had no time until now.  I knew it would take me months to make it but I decided that I was going to do it and use it for my new bed in my new house. 

     So for the last 2 days on vacation I cut pieces.  Today my friend Mckenzie and I started a chain sewing and ironing process.  Eight blocks done and at least 8 more cut I think I might finish this year!
